We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our Software Engineering team at Guardant Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software products that meet business needs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Execute Test Coverage: Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of our Enterprise Lab Information Management System (LabVantage).
- Apply Quality Engineering Best Practices: Utilize industry-leading quality engineering methodologies to design and execute test strategies, including automated testing and continuous integration.
- Troubleshoot and Report Defects: Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing, and provide clear and concise feedback on defects and test findings.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and robust testing execution as part of our regular release schedule.
- Develop and Maintain SDLC Documentation: Create and maintain documentation such as Verification Plans, Reports, Validation Plans, Risk Assessments, and Traceability Matrices.
- 8+ Years of Hands-On Testing Experience: Proven experience in testing Service-Oriented Architecture environments using COTS/SaaS solutions with API-led integrations.
- Programming Languages: Solid experience in programming languages like Java, Python.
- API Test Tools: Experience with API test tools like Postman, Fiddler, RestAssured, SOAPUI, JMeter.
- Test Automation: Develop test automation scripts to support CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
- Quality Engineering Best Practices: Extensive experience in good testing practices, QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous cross-functional software quality-related problems.
- Regulated Environment Experience: 3+ years of performing verification and validation activities in medical device, pharma, or healthcare regulated environments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Experience working in a regulated environment (CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, SOX, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and other FDA regulations).
