We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading, educating, motivating, and energizing our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional hospitality experience, with expertise in restaurant computer systems and excellent management, delegation, and presentation skills.

The Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing, leading, and mentoring managers and staff
  • Maintaining overall vision, business, and marketing objectives
  • Developing risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Representing STK Steakhouse in investigating, answering, and settling grievances
  • Maintaining all corporate mandates
  • Updating and tracking daily reports
  • Staffing and team development
  • Analyzing staffing requirements, developing iteration plans, and assessing opportunities for future growth
  • Interviewing, screening, and recruiting job applicants
  • Coaching, training, and developing management and hourly staff
  • Managing regular review of performance for management and hourly staff within the Performance Management guidelines
  • Demonstrating a positive example, with no consumption of alcohol
  • Fiscal responsibility
  • Monitoring activities and expenses
  • Setting and monitoring sales forecasts and profitability reports
  • Keeping the Director of Operations informed of sales and key issues
  • Increasing sales through marketing, networking, and incentives for staff to raise guest check average
  • Maintaining budgeted revenues, cost of sales (COS), labor, supplies, and operating cash flow (OCF)
  • Reviewing monthly profit and loss statement and acting on all variances
  • Having oversight of the beverage program and liaising with the Beverage Director on all changes, mandates, and controls of beverage costs
  • Marketing and guest relations
  • Developing new marketing ideas and concepts with the Marketing team
  • Maintaining relationships with regulars, VIPs, influencers, and key people in the industry
