At OrthoCarolina, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Revenue Cycle team in Charlotte.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and resolve medical insurance account balances and claim issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient accounts and billing information.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Process and follow up on appeals and denials in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle team to ensure seamless billing and payment processes.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required; one-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of accounts receivable experience, with one year in a healthcare organization.
  • Working knowledge of ICD-10 coding and Microsoft Office required.
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification preferred.
