Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

The associate will be tasked with the following essential duties, along with other responsibilities as assigned:
  • Conduct maintenance activities within facilities, collaborating with management to establish new preventative maintenance initiatives.
  • Oversee the upkeep and secure operation of company-owned tools and equipment essential for daily operations.
  • Manage incoming work requests, prioritize tasks, and ensure completion of assigned duties.
  • Address emergency repairs promptly to prevent property damage and ensure the safety of associates and customers.
  • Coordinate with local contractors for significant repair and maintenance projects.
  • Assist in developing protocols for swift response to emergency building or system failures to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Propose necessary capital improvement projects to enhance building functionality and efficiency.
  • Support the execution of minor capital projects.
  • Establish and uphold preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Conduct facility inspections to verify adherence to maintenance projects and protocols.
  • Educate management on the significance of planned maintenance to enhance profitability by reducing costs.
  • Participate in evaluations of new and remodeled facilities.
  • Ensure completion of assigned projects meets company standards regarding criteria, timelines, costs, and quality.
  • Perform regular inspections on assigned projects to ensure compliance with company standards and objectives, taking corrective measures as necessary.
  • Provide maintenance expertise to various departments in response to inquiries regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Offer immediate support in emergency situations, disaster recovery, and compliance matters.
  • Continuously assess best practices and standards, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not entail supervisory duties.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, the associate must successfully perform each essential duty. The following qualifications are required:

A high school diploma or GED, accompanied by five (5) years of experience in building systems maintenance and a solid understanding of construction trades. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook and Service Now Call Tracking, along with basic knowledge of iPhone and iPad operations is essential.
