Thoracic Pathologist Job Opportunity at University of Rochester

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a fellowship-trained Thoracic Pathologist to join our team. As a Thoracic Pathologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and interpreting tissue samples from patients with thoracic diseases, including lung cancer, mesothelioma, and other conditions.

The successful candidate will have completed a Thoracic Pathology Fellowship Program and be board certified/eligible in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. You will also be eligible for a medical license in the State of New York.

The University of Rochester offers a competitive salary range of $220,000-340,000, with opportunities for clinical incentive-based compensation. You will also have access to a wide range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is a dynamic and collaborative environment, with over 35 anatomic pathologists participating in a fully subspecialized sign-out model. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of pathologists, researchers, and clinicians to advance the field of thoracic pathology.
