Thoracic Pathologist Opportunity

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a fellowship-trained Thoracic Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnostic services in thoracic pathology, including neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in a fully subspecialized sign-out model with over 35 anatomic pathologists
  • Contribute to a wide range of services, including surgical and biopsy cases
  • Collaborate with Medical Center faculty on research initiatives and clinical projects
  • Teach and mentor pathology residents and medical students
Requirements
  • Board-eligible in anatomic pathology by the American Board of Pathology
  • Eligible for a medical license in the State of New York
  • Completed medical school with an MD, MD-PhD, or equivalent
  • Thoracic Pathology Fellowship Program completion
