Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. This permanent position presents an exciting opportunity to engage in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, exposing you to a variety of accounting functions. Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include:

1. Supervising all general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
2. Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
3. Managing the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
4. Processing payroll accurately and timely, ensuring all payroll transactions are recorded in the general ledger.
5. Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring proper recording of transactions and reconciliation of balances.
6. Conducting account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of the general ledger.
7. Assisting in the preparation of year-end audit materials and tax returns.
8. Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements.
9. Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the finance sector.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
4. Proven experience with general ledger functions, including account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing.
5. Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Strong analytical skills to analyze complex financial information and provide timely financial reports.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all organizational levels.
9. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. CPA or equivalent certification is advantageous.
