Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process, record, and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, cash disbursements, billings, and cash receipts.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, including supervision of collections and review of fixed assets, sales and use taxes, personal property taxes, and franchise taxes.
  • Prepare day-to-day and month-end close entries, including payroll administration, fringe, investment allocations, and grant allocations.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the accounting operations within each assigned client and obtain a working knowledge of the client's accounting software packages.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 3-7 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and colleagues.
