Role Summary

Community Services Institute (CSI) is actively seeking dedicated Outpatient Mental Health Therapists to enhance our behavioral health team. Our professionals deliver client-focused therapeutic services to a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, and children, through both telehealth and in-person sessions. Clinicians should possess knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches for families confronting systemic challenges and mental health issues. Responsibilities include timely completion of necessary documentation such as progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans, with support provided for administrative tasks associated with community mental health.

About Community Services Institute:

CSI has a rich history as one of the pioneering outpatient community mental health clinics, providing home-based therapy to families who encounter barriers to accessing mental health care. Our outreach model emerged following the closure of long-term psychiatric facilities in the 1960s and 1970s, transitioning to outpatient services. For nearly forty years, CSI has been committed to social equity and ensuring therapy is accessible to all, regardless of individual circumstances. Our clinicians enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model, serving clients virtually, in-office, and within community environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Professionals who will deliver psychotherapy and consultations to individuals, couples, families, and children.
  • Collaborate effectively with CSI's psychiatry and Therapeutic Mentor programs.
  • Self-driven clinicians who appreciate flexible scheduling.
  • Conduct assessments and formulate goal-oriented treatment plans.
  • Availability for some evening sessions to accommodate clients' schedules.
  • Maintain a minimum of 22 billable therapy and consultation hours weekly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree (minimum of 60 credits) in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Eligibility for LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are highly preferred.
  • Cultural competence is essential.
  • Massachusetts CANS certification is mandatory.

Benefits Offered:

  • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, licensure, and bilingual capabilities.
  • Supervision hours provided for licensure purposes.
  • Flexible scheduling options allowing clinicians to set their own hours.
  • Training stipends available during the initial six weeks of training and case management.
  • Modern, well-equipped, and sanitized office spaces.
  • Comprehensive health insurance benefits, including dental, medical, and vision coverage.
  • Company-sponsored life insurance.
  • 401K retirement plan.
  • Financial advisory services.
  • Initial onboarding stipends during the first six weeks of training and case management.
  • Support for professional development.
  • A passionate and experienced team of mental health professionals.
  • Bi-weekly bonuses for timely completion of client documentation and exceeding productivity benchmarks.
