LPN-Clinic Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ochsner Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and Ochsner Health's policies and procedures.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- IV therapy credentials.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic or hospital environment.
