LPN-Clinic Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ochsner Health System's Eye Clinic. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Work collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with patient education, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- IV therapy credentials (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
