We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ochsner Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Internal Medicine Clinic.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to assigned patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in internal medicine.
- IV therapy credentials.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs).
