The Technology Department at Dimensional leverages the rapidly evolving state of the art to engineer the platforms that power the innovative, research-driven financial and technical products to improve our client's financial lives. As a member of the Business Continuity Team, you will facilitate the development of disaster recovery plans and strategies and drive the implementation of resiliency across the technology organization. You will also participate in developing the Business Continuity and Crisis Management Program, including plans and exercises. The Lead Resiliency and Recovery Manager will collaborate with technical staff, business owners, infrastructure partners, service delivery managers, and other stakeholders to provide thought leadership and practical solutions enabling stability of service for our internal clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize modern best practices to assure the delivery of resilient cybersecurity and technology services.
  • Design architectural standards that help us meet resiliency goals.
  • Work with engineering/platform/development teams to foster a culture of modern resiliency.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to share in your vision for resiliency.
  • Design and drive a resiliency road map focused on hybrid technology architecture(s).
  • Interface with business and business continuity partners to assure alignment between critical business process and resiliency architecture.
  • Design a "continuous testing" methodology and a governance model to test/audit/refine our posture.
  • Conduct tabletop exercises focused on educating and maturing our resiliency posture.
  • Design integrations with incident response functions and processes.
  • Design to keep pace with the ever-changing regulatory and compliance landscape.
  • Assist in the development and updating of plans on an annual basis to keep up with regulatory requirements and client expectations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 - 10 years' experience and knowledge of modern business continuity and disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies.
  • Proven track record of implementing resiliency. continuity, crisis management and disaster recovery solutions for highly available hybrid architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of modern technology infrastructure componentry and operations.
  • Experience in leading projects.
  • Experience in developing Disaster Recovery/Resiliency, Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans and conducting exercises.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.

Preferred Competencies:
  • Certifications in one of the following preferred: ABCP, CBCP, CBCPI, CISSP, GCIH, ITIL, or BCI
  • Experience with BC/DR planning software and Notification systems.
  • Competence with common scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc) a plus.
  • Understanding of security & infrastructure standards and regulations a plus
  • Experience in the financial services industry a plus.
