Mental Health Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management and skills-based interventions to increase the youth's natural supports and strengths, fostering resilience and recovery.
- Accurately document services, attend Wraparound Team meetings as needed, and communicate participant progress to supervisors, team members, and the referring authority.
- Deliver services in compliance with the Texas Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual, the Texas Resilience and Recovery Utilization Management Guidelines, YAP standards, and all state and federal regulations governing the delivery of service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human service related field, as defined by Texas Administrative Code.
- Valid state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) as a mental health professional a plus.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for various mental health conditions.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
