Overview:

The Senior HVAC Sales Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the Branch Manager in the efficient and profitable operation of the branch. This includes fostering relationships with clients, assisting with order processing and payments, and ensuring high standards of customer service. Depending on branch size, this role may include supervisory duties.

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients in various scenarios, both over the phone and face-to-face. If you thrive in customer service, sales, and collaboration with enthusiastic colleagues, this position is ideal for you.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Manage inventory and cash effectively.
  • Recommend alternative products based on pricing, availability, or specifications.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and create in-house promotions.
  • Handle incoming calls to ensure timely and efficient customer support.
  • Project a professional image to clients and vendors at all times.
  • Exhibit strong listening, communication, negotiation, and phone etiquette skills.
  • Manage challenging situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • Utilize material handling equipment safely for products exceeding 70 pounds.


Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of heating and cooling systems.
  • Understanding of electrical systems.
  • Proficient in basic mathematics.
  • Familiarity with major product lines.
  • Effective sales techniques.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record; ability to operate manual transmission if necessary.


Work Environment:

This role operates in a fast-paced setting with frequent interruptions. It requires regular bending, climbing, movement, and lifting during the loading/unloading of trucks and stocking of products. Employees may encounter extreme temperatures. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts (half-day). This position is considered safety-sensitive.

Successful completion of pre-employment screenings is mandatory, and candidates must be at least 18 years old to operate a forklift.
