Job Summary

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Facilities Planner to join our team. As a key member of the Campus Planning group, you will play a critical role in supporting the laboratory's near- and long-term site, facility, and infrastructure strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for facilities and infrastructure to address capability gaps and optimize current and future facility investments.
  • Provide direction for the addition or removal of facilities and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with approved standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain updates to prime contracts, service agreements, interlaboratory agreements, and leasing actions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, interpreting internal and external business and/or regulatory challenges and providing insight and recommendations based on industry trends and best practices.
  • Lead teams or projects with moderate risk and complexity, influencing successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Interface with all research and support organizations within PNNL, fostering creative solutions to complicated facility and infrastructure needs.
  • Manage and maintain processes, engaging senior level staff and management, and ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA and 7+ years of relevant work experience -OR-
  • MS/MA and 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing facility related data to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Understanding of facility systems and infrastructure.
