Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Quality Coordinator to join our team at Norton Healthcare. This role will be responsible for researching, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care services for quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Respiratory Therapy Matrix to implement processes and quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with educational coordinators to implement quality processes based on research-based practices.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of respiratory care services, including neonate, infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric care.
  • Serve as a role model for quality initiatives and identify resources, supplies, and care models needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge via hospital and department communication tools.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and apply them to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of respiratory care experience, including 1 year in critical care.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, clinical laboratory science, medical technology, cardiopulmonary science, or respiratory therapy.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (National) and Respiratory Therapist (State) certifications.
  • ACCS or NPS certification within 1 year of hire.
