Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and evaluate respiratory protocols, including all modalities of therapy.
  • Assess, develop, and evaluate care plans for patients.
  • Provide patient and family education on medications and therapy modalities.
  • Participate in monitoring quality of care and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Organize workflow to maintain smooth transitions between shifts.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of respiratory care services, including documentation, billing, and supply management.
Qualifications
  • One year of respiratory care experience.
  • Associate Degree in a related field.
  • One of the following certifications: ACCS, NPS, Registered Respiratory Therapist (National), or Respiratory Therapist (KY).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of respiratory care experience, including critical care.
  • Adult Critical Care Specialty, Neonatal Pediatric Specialist, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
