Job Summary

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager will oversee the development and implementation of the company's EHS program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves work at our manufacturing facilities in Clackamas, OR and Vancouver, WA, requiring an on-site presence at both locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the EHS program, including policy and procedure development, training, and compliance monitoring.
  • Represent the company to regulatory officials and ensure compliance with health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Investigate safety-related issues and employee injuries, and develop effective corrective actions.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections and studies to evaluate and correct health, safety, and environmental hazards.
  • Develop and conduct occupational health and safety education and training programs.

Environmental Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sustainability and continuous improvement of the ISO 14001 standard.
  • Manage environmental compliance programs and projects.
  • Act as the primary local contact with regulatory agencies and other interested parties.
  • Develop and present environmental compliance training or orientation sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in occupational health, safety, environmental, engineering, chemical sciences, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification.
  • HazMat DOT, RCRA, OSHA 40 HR Certification.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $75,000-$130,000 based on skills and experience.
