Position Overview
Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area is a dedicated organization focused on granting wishes to children facing critical health challenges. Our mission is to create transformative experiences that bring joy and hope to these young individuals and their families.

Role Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented team member to support the wish planning process. This role is essential in ensuring that each child's wish is handled with care and precision. The position requires a commitment to working in our office at least two days a week as part of a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities
1. Facilitate the intake process from the initial wish discovery interview to the final wish determination.
2. Manage a caseload of multiple wishes simultaneously, ensuring timely progression through the pipeline.
3. Collaborate with volunteers to schedule and conduct wish interviews effectively.
4. Review and process wish interview documentation submitted by volunteers.
5. Evaluate the suitability of wishes in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
6. Maintain communication with wish families to discuss ideas, manage expectations, and gather necessary documentation.
7. Enter and maintain accurate data in our Salesforce database.
8. Engage with program staff, volunteer teams, and families to ensure a seamless wish experience.
9. Stay informed about policy updates and contribute to ongoing process enhancements.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including administrative roles.
- Preferred educational background includes an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a positive approach to teamwork.
- Ability to navigate complex family dynamics with empathy and professionalism.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with children, families, and various stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating cultural humility.
- Experience with database management, particularly Salesforce, is advantageous.
