Your Role in the Team:

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in steering projects that facilitate organizational transformation across various departments and business lines within the Bank. This position requires strong analytical thinking, excellent consultation abilities, effective presentation skills, meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to task completion, and outstanding organizational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of assigned Bank projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closure, while establishing clear milestones and deliverables and keeping stakeholders updated on project progress.
  • Utilize project management software to develop project plans, create dashboards, and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Assemble and lead project teams comprising members from relevant groups, ensuring effective communication without unnecessary bureaucracy. Provide guidance to team members to enhance requirement gathering and scope definition.
  • Document risks and assist in resolving any issues that may affect project advancement.
  • Generate project status reports, success metrics, and related documentation for distribution to project management leadership, executive sponsors, and project owners.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of all significant activities at the Bank, including our business lines, key systems, applications, and personnel.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of relationships among Bank employees, departments, customers, vendors, regulators, and others to drive effective change.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently, including associated tasks and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams with strong communication skills.
  • Capability to collaborate across all organizational levels, with robust change management and problem-solving skills.
  • Successful track record of overcoming obstacles and achieving results.
  • Commitment to high-quality standards and low tolerance for subpar performance.
  • Ability to utilize data and metrics to inform decision-making and identify requirements.
  • Experience with project management technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A college degree is preferred, or at least 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • PMP certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience is required.
  • Experience in banking or consumer finance is preferred.
