SusieCakes is a beloved bakery chain with numerous locations across California, Texas, and Tennessee, known for its delightful array of freshly baked goods including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies, and bars.

We are currently seeking a General Manager who embodies the following qualities:

This role requires a commitment of 47.5 hours per week, including availability on weeknights and weekends.

The General Manager will oversee multiple locations within the Orange County area.

The General Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering an exceptional guest experience within the bakery, creating a joyful and celebratory atmosphere while achieving success metrics based on team and guest satisfaction.

Key Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Inspire the team to build authentic connections with guests and deliver exceptional hospitality.
  • Engage in kitchen operations and oversee the production process to ensure high-quality products.
  • Manage business objectives, including staffing, payroll, operating expenses, and budgets.
  • Facilitate the development and training of all team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, sanitary environment in line with health standards.
  • Embrace a collaborative team philosophy focused on shared goals.
  • Foster community partnerships to enhance business growth and brand visibility.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of managerial experience in luxury, hospitality, food service, or retail sectors.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in business or hospitality management is preferred.
  • Willingness to work across multiple regional locations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules based on business needs.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting, moving, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $80,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other relevant factors.
