Position Summary:
We are currently seeking dedicated Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Dining Room Attendants who possess outstanding customer service abilities to enrich the dining experience for our clientele. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned work routines utilizing various dietary tools and equipment as directed by the Resident Experience Director.
- Assist culinary staff in meal preparation and service.
- Adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations, as well as departmental policies.
- Maintain cleanliness by following established cleaning schedules.
- Prepare trays, load food carts, and serve meals to residents.
- Set up dining areas and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Wash and store kitchenware efficiently.
- Report supply and equipment needs in a timely manner.
- Help with the receipt and storage of food and supplies.
- Participate in educational training sessions.
- Comply with safety protocols during all tasks.
- Implement infection control measures as required.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures and participate in drills.
- Stay informed about applicable regulations and policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Resident Experience Director or designated personnel.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation.
- Understanding of sanitation and safety practices.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills.
Work Environment:
This role involves repetitive wrist motions and requires the ability to lift up to seventy-five pounds (75 lbs).
Physical Requirements:
The Dining Room Attendant will be active throughout the day, engaging in various physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and manipulating food items and supplies. Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels is expected.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
- Previous experience in institutional dietary services is preferred.
