Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team at Forefront Healthcare & Culinary Services. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our residents and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established recipes and menus.
  • Ensure food is prepared at proper temperatures and follow safe food handling practices.
  • Assist with inventory management and receiving goods from vendors.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef/Cottage Manager/Chef Manager to coordinate menus and special requests.
  • Adapt to changing schedules and emergency situations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of food preparation and service experience.
  • ServSafe certification required (or obtain within 3 months of employment).
  • Knowledge of food handlers and safety regulations.
  • Proven track record of integrity and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
