Insight Global is seeking a Monitoring Architect/Engineer to enhance the Operational Intelligence Team for a prominent financial client. The organization is looking for two skilled mid-senior Engineers to lead the global monitoring strategy for critical Markets APS applications. This role involves designing, architecting, planning, reviewing, developing, and implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions to support applications.

The team is currently integrating additional applications from the Global Banking sector that lack adequate monitoring processes and integration within their systems. The selected candidate will evaluate the existing monitoring framework, identify application monitoring requirements, and pinpoint any deficiencies. They will devise a holistic monitoring strategy to be implemented using the monitoring tools in collaboration with engineering and production support teams. The role entails approximately 40% architecture oversight and 60% hands-on engineering tasks.

The individual will identify shortcomings in the current monitoring systems, specifically Dynatrace and Splunk. They will offer integrated systems planning and recommendations for new technologies that can enhance existing systems, aligning with corporate and business objectives related to Application Production Support monitoring strategy. A solid understanding of various application components—how they are constructed, operated, and supported, as well as their interaction with system software and hardware—is crucial for this position.
