Job Summary

Maintain primary responsibility for patient flow and bed placement across the entire hospital. Collaborate with Nursing Office Staff, Team Leaders, and Managers to ensure optimal utilization of human resources. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining patient safety through ongoing communication with staff, Team Leaders, and Managers.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist with patient care and management as necessary.
  • Participate in hospital-wide performance improvement projects.
  • Assist with staff development and promote positive interdepartmental communications.
  • Provide information related to hospital status, including current census and patient/unit activity, to physicians, administrators, managers, patient care staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program.
  • Current PA RN License, Healthcare Provider CPR, and Act 33/73 clearances.
  • Three years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care facility.
  • Previous management/supervisory experience is preferred.
