Quality Inspector Job Description

At Argus Technical Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting inspections, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform floor inspections on parts in house and from customers and/or suppliers, following procedures and inspection guides.
  • Input and maintain inspection data into the Inspection Process Sheet.
  • Issue Material Review Board (MRB) reports through the ERP System for non-conforming products.
  • Communicate non-conformance findings with Shift Production Supervisors.
  • Provide explanations of Visual Inspection Criteria (VIC) to operators on the production floor.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three years of inspection experience.
  • Ability to operate department equipment, including computerized optical comparators, coordinate measuring machines, department computers, microscopes, and various measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000/13485 fundamentals is a plus.
