Key Responsibilities
Conducts advanced purchasing tasks, including pricing analysis, negotiating volume discounts, and establishing long-term agreements with vendors, as well as overseeing the delivery of goods and services.
Secures the most favorable terms (cost, delivery, and payment conditions) with suppliers, ensuring efficient processing of purchase orders to attain the highest quality at the best price.
Develops criteria for source selection to evaluate quotations, including target pricing benchmarks.
Analyzes bids received from potential suppliers and makes informed decisions regarding the allocation of purchase orders.
Incorporates formal and legal contractual agreements into purchase orders, ensuring compliance with all corporate and governmental requirements.
Addresses discrepancies between purchase order specifications and supplier performance.
Guarantees adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and procurement policies.
Identifies areas of concern, initiates corrective measures, and establishes timelines for resolution in a prompt manner.
Maintains accurate and current purchase order information within the procurement system (e.g., delivery schedules, pricing adjustments, change orders).
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Regular and punctual attendance is essential, with potential requirements for evening and weekend work, as well as variable schedules and additional hours as necessary.

Job Requirements

Education :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Experience :
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in procurement.

Skills :
Comprehensive understanding of procurement principles and practices within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors.
Proven ability to draft specifications, prepare bidding documents, manage the bidding process, and analyze bid outcomes.
Extensive experience in negotiating contracts with a successful track record.
Capable of resolving complex issues and exercising judgment based on the analysis of diverse information sources.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with a strong ability to drive tasks to completion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management applications.
