Purchasing Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Analyst to join our team at Ultimate Staffing. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for assisting in the purchasing process, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the RFQ process, including pricing review and negotiation, to ensure supplier quotations are in line with benchmarks.
  • Track and manage cost, research and explain variances, and track yearly cost savings, on-time delivery quotes, and agreements.
  • Work closely with administrators to provide guidance and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Review Purchase Requests and create Purchase Orders for all locations, as well as process related invoices.
  • Perform the buying function for the purchasing of goods and services in accordance with Corporate Purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Assist with sourcing qualified suppliers, developing specifications, product standardization, negotiations, and contract development.
  • Manage the bid process, including solicitation, analysis, negotiations, and evaluation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the General Affairs team on corporate event purchases and asset audits.
  • Identify strategies to achieve annualized net savings and implement tactics to achieve this goal.
  • Support and guide all locations' administrators with SAP system issues and general purchasing procedures.
  • Work closely with the Finance Department on vendor management and invoice procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2-4 years of experience in Purchasing
  • Must have experience working with SAP
