Electronics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team at AppleOne. As an Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and testing a variety of manufactured electronics products and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Disassemble, evaluate, troubleshoot to component level, quote, repair, reassemble, and test all units
- Perform testing with procedures and documentation by developing equipment setups for undocumented requirements
- Assemble and test experimental motor-control devices and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles
- Test/troubleshoot to component level and board level
- Diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction of equipment, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- Plan, direct, and record periodic electrical testing, and recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards
- Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specifications
- Monitor controls and instruments
- Coordinate and participate in installing units or systems to be tested in test fixtures, mechanical or electrical controls, cabling, power source, and indicating instruments
- Activate controls to apply electrical or mechanical power and subject test items to successive steps in the test cycle
- Recommend changes to ATP's as necessary
- Confer with engineering personnel to resolve fabrication problems relating to specifications and review test plans such as types and cycles of tests
- Review and respond to open corrective actions
- Provide input to assist in resolving customer problems and complaints
