Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Express Employment Professionals. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the performance of third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support the performance of 3PLs, including volume planning, forecasting, and daily coordination with floor managers.
  • Partner with merchants and vendors to identify and resolve quality issues upstream, providing guidance and accountability to 3PL partners.
  • Resolve quality issues to ensure product movement meets lead time goals.
  • Track and maintain reporting on 3PL operations, vendor compliance, and other operational KPIs as needed.
  • Track and record vendor performance at the PO, vendor, and department level to generate weekly reporting on quality and compliance.
  • Identify violations to the routing and compliance guide and issue chargebacks based on merit and track record of the vendor.
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate trends in service-related issues and work with 3PLs to make process improvements.
  • Monitor daily vendor delivery performance, including EDI transmission, allocation accuracy, and product and shipment standards adherence.
Requirements
  • Possess at least three years of experience and expert proficiency working with computers, particularly the MS Office suite.
  • Willing to travel to operational facilities periodically.
  • Adaptable mentality and willing to learn new systems, including potential courses and outside training.
  • Highly proficient with computer skills, especially MS Excel, and an ability to understand basic computer languages such as XML and HTML.
  • Possess strong communication skills with various audiences.
  • Comfortable delivering tough messages to partners and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong executor, able to juggle competing priorities, manage time well, and keep yourself organized.
