Job Overview

Position Summary: Oversees the operations of the Food & Beverage division, ensuring compliance with established company policies and relevant regulations.


Compensation:
$18/hr.


Key Responsibilities: This description highlights essential functions of the role, excluding marginal tasks that are incidental to primary job duties.   • Delivers exceptional guest service to both internal and external patrons, embodying the #AddLife culture in all interactions.
  • Facilitates guest service training and orientation for new hires.
  • Collaborates with management to provide ongoing training for staff.
  • Ensures the dining area is properly prepared for service.
  • Supervises side work duties and the opening and closing procedures.
  • Coordinates with fellow F&B Supervisors and Managers regarding scheduling, food ordering, and inventory levels.
  • Assists in the setup and breakdown of private events.
  • Fosters a supportive and motivating environment for team members.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive information in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Assists management in evaluating departmental activities to enhance staffing levels, working conditions, and overall guest service quality.
  • Monitors the performance of subordinate employees to ensure adherence to management standards.
  • Addresses issues within the scope of authority and recommends solutions for matters beyond that scope to the supervisor.
  • Oversees daily departmental activities in accordance with established company policies.
  • Keeps the supervisor informed of significant developments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Regulatory Compliance Responsibilities:
In addition to the duties outlined, each team member has specific responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.


  • Participates in mandatory training sessions provided by the company.
  • Obtains and maintains necessary licenses.
  • Performs duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Takes measures to ensure minors are not permitted in restricted areas.
  • Possesses knowledge of relevant ordinances, regulations, and procedures related to the department.
  • Understands the Property's initiatives to address problem gaming.
  • Reports any known misconduct.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be capable of articulating ideas and making independent decisions.


Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Virginia Racing Commission License
Serv-Safe Certification


Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages subordinate staff who may oversee other employees.
