Biochemist or Chemist

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Biochemist or Chemist to join our team as a Research Associate II. This is a 12-month contract position located in Bothell, WA.

• Operate a liquid handling robot (Tecan) to assist with high throughput bioconjugation and characterization of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
• Analytical characterization of antibodies and ADCs including HPLC, LC/MS, and spectroscopy.
• Preparation, purification, and characterization of ADCs using established conjugation methodologies.
• Data and report generation, including regular review of data with manager.
• Communicate regularly with colleagues, relaying data and ADC delivery details.
• Preparation of critical reagents and maintenance of inventories.
• Routine laboratory cleaning and equipment maintenance.

• Minimum of 2 years post-baccalaureate lab experience in an academic or industry environment.
• BA/BS or MS degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or related field.
• Experience performing analytical chromatography of proteins.
• Willingness to work with potent cytotoxic compounds, following safety protocols.

• Prior experience operating a liquid handling robot (Tecan Fluent).
• Performing plate-based (96-well) experiments and analytical protein LC/MS.
• Previous experience performing bio-conjugation techniques.
