Machine Maintenance Specialist

Fenner Precision Polymers is seeking a highly skilled Machine Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing full maintenance support coverage for all manufacturing departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled maintenance activities on all processing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair equipment failures, utilizing your expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Recommend and implement changes to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Support production as needed, working closely with production teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all product requirements and processing capabilities.
- Collaborate with the engineering group to design and fabricate production equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Train and mentor maintenance associates, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the field, applying this knowledge to improve our manufacturing processes.
- Attend required EHS training and adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Wear required PPE at all times and take personal responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Report incidents, near misses, and hazards, and participate in risk assessments and workplace inspections.

Requirements- Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Minimum 2 years' experience performing troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of motion controls, electrical wiring, and mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office applications and AutoCAD, preferred.
