  • Hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance at least three days a week, with specific days designated.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Wire Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all assigned wire transactions, including foreign currency payments, are processed accurately and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring outgoing wires to confirm appropriate approvals are obtained prior to fund transmission.
  • Overseeing incoming wire queues to guarantee timely and precise posting of transactions.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service related to wire transfers.
  • Reviewing and addressing any OFAC hits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Investigating discrepancies or errors, reporting findings to management, and proposing process improvements.
  • Conducting quarterly evaluations of current processes and documenting user acceptance testing for ongoing enhancements in Payment Operations.
  • Collaborating with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and compliance of payment systems.
  • Assisting with Payment Operations reporting.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in wire transfer operations within a banking or credit union environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with PayPlus software is preferred.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and build strong professional relationships.
