Work Environment:
This position is based in a hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance at least three days a week, specifically on set days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of assigned wire transactions across all channels, including foreign currency payments, customer service inquiries, wire investigations, and reconciliations, adhering to all policies and compliance standards.
- Verify that all outgoing wire transfers receive the necessary approvals before funds are transmitted.
- Oversee incoming wire queues to guarantee that transactions are posted accurately and promptly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service related to wire transfer inquiries.
- Monitor and assess 'OFAC' hits to ensure compliance with financial crime regulations.
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies or errors, communicate findings to management, and propose enhancements for process improvements.
- Conduct regular testing of current processes and procedures, and design and document User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for ongoing improvements in Payment Operations.
- Assist in the execution of opening and closing procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure that payment systems and processes are fully integrated and compliant with industry standards.
- Support Payment Operations reporting tasks.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in wire transfer operations within a banking or credit union environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with PayPlus software is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Capability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
