Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of assigned wire transactions across all channels, including foreign currency payments, while adhering to established policies and compliance requirements.
- Verify that all outgoing wire transfers receive the necessary approvals before funds are transmitted.
- Oversee incoming wire queues to guarantee that transactions are posted promptly and accurately.
- Deliver exceptional customer service related to wire transfers.
- Monitor and assess OFAC hits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors, communicating findings to management and proposing process improvements.
- Conduct quarterly assessments of current processes and design UAT procedures for ongoing enhancements in Payment Operations.
- Assist with the opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure that payment systems are fully integrated and compliant with industry standards.
- Support Payment Operations reporting initiatives.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in wire transfer operations within a banking or credit union environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with PayPlus software is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Capability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
