About the Role

Canteen, a division of Compass Group North America, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team in Maryland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business development and expanding our customer base in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and expand our customer base in the Maryland region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure Canteen remains competitive in the market.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record of success in new business development.
  • Strong understanding of the Maryland market and its customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
