Job Overview

Texas Truck Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Truck & Equipment Sales Representative. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for soliciting and servicing new and existing customers to maintain and increase our customer base and achieve sales revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and market our company to generate new business opportunities
  • Maintain existing customer accounts and database
  • Build relationships, negotiate terms, meet expectations, resolve issues, and close sales
  • Demonstrate product knowledge to achieve highest customer service
  • Create proposals and bids on existing inventory and new equipment
  • Receive customer orders and serve as the customer contact point on retail sales
  • Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and market conditions for inventory needs
  • Perform Team Quality Check
  • Arrange and coordinate delivery to customers, as well as equipment demonstrations

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Class A or B driver's license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Efficient with CRM database
  • Three to seven years of industry-related sales experience
  • Strong negotiating and closing skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Motivated and self-starter

Compensation: Salary + Commission
