Job Overview:

This position is a crucial part of the Marketing and Communications team, responsible for directing a group dedicated to the strategic planning and execution of wayfinding and signage initiatives across the health system. The primary objective of these efforts is to guarantee that individuals visiting or currently present at our facilities can easily find their way, understand their location, and navigate to their intended destinations without difficulty.

The Wayfinding Supervisor will manage a team that collaborates closely with various departments within Marketing and Communications, ensuring brand consistency throughout all signage and wayfinding materials. Additionally, this role will align with customer feedback initiatives led by Strategic Planning and Performance Measurement.

In addition to supervising team members, the Wayfinding Supervisor will act as the main liaison for external vendors and subject matter experts who provide guidance on wayfinding and signage communications. The team's responsibilities will include overseeing all health network signage projects, establishing communication and sign placement standards, creating patient letters, developing maps, facilitating staff education, and coordinating with digital solutions and other relevant communication channels.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of two years in wayfinding, marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism is required. Preferred candidates will have four years of relevant experience, which may have been gained concurrently with educational pursuits.

Educational Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is essential.

Specialized Skills:

Applicants should possess strong skills in typography, composition, presentation, and information dissemination. Familiarity with city, state, and federal building and safety regulations is also necessary.
