Descripción General:

Requisitos del Trabajo:

Los requisitos para ser un Asistente de Cuidado Personal son los siguientes:

  1. Certificación como Asistente de Enfermería (CNA) o Asistente de Cuidado Personal (PCA);
  2. Edad mínima de 18 años;
  3. Documentación de un historial laboral positivo con al menos dos referencias laborales disponibles;
  4. Licencia de conducir válida;
  5. No tener más de 2 delitos que impidan la contratación según los estándares estatales y de la empresa;
  6. Los asistentes deben poder hablar, leer y escribir en inglés y cumplir con una de las siguientes calificaciones:
    • Haber completado satisfactoriamente un programa de educación en enfermería que prepare para la licencia de enfermero registrado o enfermero práctico;
    • Haber completado un programa de educación para asistentes de enfermería aprobado;
    • Certificación como asistente de enfermería emitida;
    • Estar inscrito en un programa de educación en enfermería y haber completado al menos un curso de enfermería que incluya experiencia clínica;
    • Haber pasado un programa de evaluación de competencia que cumpla con los criterios establecidos;
    • Haber completado la capacitación utilizando el "Currículo de Capacitación para Asistentes de Cuidado Personal".

Responsabilidades:

Las responsabilidades del Asistente de Cuidado Personal incluyen, pero no se limitan a, lo siguiente:

  1. Leer y cumplir con el manual de Medicaid y las regulaciones pertinentes;
  2. Colaborar con la oficina corporativa para cumplir con las expectativas presupuestarias;
  3. Completar todos los registros de asistencia para cada cliente asignado;
  4. Conocer el plan de atención de cada cliente;
  5. No supervisar a otros empleados;
  6. Informar sobre preocupaciones clínicas al Supervisor de Enfermería;
  7. Estar disponible para el personal de la agencia por teléfono las 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana;
  8. Asistir a al menos 12 horas de capacitación al año según lo solicitado.

Servicios de Cuidado Personal:

Los servicios de cuidado personal realizados por los empleados de Diamond Quality en el hogar están limitados a las siguientes actividades:

  1. Actividades de la Vida Diaria (AVD):
    • Baño y aseo personal;
    • Vestirse;
    • Asistencia con el uso del baño;
    • Movilidad y cambio de posición;
    • Asistencia con la alimentación;
    • Supervisión de la medicación auto-administrada;
  2. Actividades de Mantenimiento del Hogar (AMH):
    • Preparación y servicio de comidas;
    • Limpieza de utensilios y cocina;
    • Cambio de sábanas;
    • Limpiar las áreas utilizadas por el cliente;
    • Lista de suministros necesarios;
    • Compras de suministros necesarios;

Los empleados deben comportarse de manera profesional en el trabajo, actuando siempre con cortesía, honestidad y respeto hacia todos los clientes, compañeros de trabajo y supervisores.

Tipos de Trabajo: Horas Variables, Múltiples Turnos Disponibles

Compensación: Salario inicial de $12-$16/hora
