Position Overview:
As a Warranty Claims Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing warranty processes for our dealership. Your responsibilities will ensure that all warranty claims are handled efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Timely processing of warranty claims for each franchise or distributor.
  • Management of all warranty documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Verification of criteria set forth by the manufacturer or distributor.
  • Reconciliation of warranty receivables with payments through the designated accounting schedule.
  • Entry of credits into the computer system.
  • Prompt resubmission of rejected claims or obtaining authorization for write-offs.
  • Follow-up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payment.
  • Tracking of warranty parts by tagging with relevant details such as repair order number and replacement date.
  • Coordination of parts shipment to the manufacturer or distributor, or arranging for disposal.
  • Maintenance of service records as required by the warranty provider.
  • Staying informed about factory recalls and bulletins.
  • Providing assistance with body shop warranty claims as necessary.
  • Supporting cashier and telephone duties as needed.
  • Assisting with clerical tasks as directed by management.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and organized workspace.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • No prior experience or training is necessary.
  • Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training.
  • High school diploma or GED, with one to three months of related experience or training.
  • Completion of a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, with six months to one year of related experience.

Working Conditions:
Work will be conducted in a temperature-controlled office environment.

Salary:
$22.00 per hour
