Job Description

While prior experience in dentistry or orthodontics is not essential, a successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new terminology and technology. In the realm of dental healthcare, this role is often referred to as an Observation Coordinator.

Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this role is to educate patients about our observation program and address inquiries regarding potential orthodontic treatment options. The coordinator will manage the patient observation pool effectively, ensuring a smooth process for all involved.

The ideal candidate will be self-directed, motivated, results-oriented, and dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for our new patients. This position emphasizes relationship building and sales, making it ideal for a friendly, positive, focused, and influential professional eager to impact our patients' lives positively. The role offers a significant degree of autonomy, responsibility, and accountability, collaborating with some of the finest team members and doctors in the orthodontic field. A background in customer service and hospitality will greatly enhance the chances of success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet patients upon arrival
- Schedule and confirm appointments for orthodontic treatments
- Clearly explain treatment plans, procedures, and associated costs to patients
- Liaise with insurance providers to verify coverage and process claims
- Assist patients with financial arrangements and discuss payment options
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary
- Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure efficient workflow and high patient satisfaction
- Provide outstanding customer service and address any patient inquiries or concerns

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with orthodontic terminology, procedures, and treatment plans is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
