The DLR Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Leader to join our team in the K-12 Sector. As a Client Leader, you will be responsible for leading client engagement from marketing through the construction phase, working closely with our integrated design team to create buildings that elevate the human experience through design.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Support business development initiatives by participating in the RFP and interview processes, and contribute to the growth of our K-12 studio in Ohio.
- Client Management: Maintain client contact for the project, support a work environment that fosters innovation, and positively respond to the clients goals and objectives.
- Project Management: Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and adhere to the project work plan and schedule, and ensure all DLR Group practice standards are followed during the project.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead the contract negotiations and approve all contract changes, and ensure timely processing of invoices and engage clients for prompt payment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor team members and participate in hiring, training, and onboarding of new staff, and participate in in-house training activities to further develop your skills and abilities.
- 15+ years of experience in a client-facing role for multiple K-12 projects in Ohio.
- Bachelors degree in architecture or equivalent.
- OFCC Project Experience.
- Masters degree in architecture or equivalent.
- Licensed Architect in Ohio.
- NCARB certified.
