Position: PEX Specialist

The PEX Specialist will be an integral part of the Global PEX team, focusing on enhancing operations across three key sites in the Americas: Windsor Blades and Brighton Nacelles in the USA, and Fortaleza Nacelles in Brazil. Opportunities for initiatives in other Business Units within Vestas and its suppliers may also arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the adoption of PEX methodologies in manufacturing and logistics at the designated sites.
  • Ensure the durability and effectiveness of PEX initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of Lean and Continuous Improvement at all organizational levels.
  • Assist in the implementation of digital solutions for Data Collection and Analysis.
  • Evaluate and map current performance metrics of the value stream/process.
  • Develop and monitor action plans to address performance deficiencies.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Events, including Kaizen Events, with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct training sessions and facilitate workshops on Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Prepare and present reports on specific projects and workshops.
  • Collaborate and exchange knowledge with the global team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing context.
  • Experience in Lean and Continuous Improvement in logistics operations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

Competencies:

  • Proficient in engaging with individuals across various hierarchical levels regarding change management.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and PowerBI.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Data Collection, Data Analysis, and Data-Driven decision-making.
  • Extensive experience with Problem Solving tools and techniques.
  • Theoretical and practical expertise in Lean Systems and Tools.
  • Ability to train stakeholders at different levels in Lean and Continuous Improvement.
  • Creative, proactive, and resilient with a positive attitude.
  • Capability to manage complex projects and workstreams simultaneously.
