POSITION OVERVIEW

The Human Resources Coordinator II will assist the PM IEN Human Resources (HR) office by providing support across various functional areas, specifically tailored for civilian government and military personnel.

As a federal contractor, we maintain a drug-free workplace and comply with the Federal Controlled Substance Act.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Facilitates in-processing, out-processing, and onboarding procedures.
  2. Enhances the newcomers' briefing and plans quarterly updates.
  3. Monitors and reports on the completion of civilian performance evaluations under the Contribution-Based Compensation and Appraisal System.
  4. Tracks and reports military officer evaluation reports for military staff.
  5. Processes and monitors civilian and military hiring actions.
  6. Maintains organizational charts, emergency contact lists, and manpower distribution allowances.
  7. Prepares official correspondence in accordance with AR 25-50 and is knowledgeable about Army correspondence practices.
  8. Tracks mandatory training requirements for government personnel.
  9. Manages the Office of Government Ethics -450 database.
  10. Processes and reports on civilian and military awards and associated presentation materials.
  11. Acts as a backup for various HR tasks and reporting duties.
  12. Assists in the planning and execution of Equal Employee Observances and morale events.
  13. Performs Timekeeper functions in the Automated Time Attendance and Production System and serves as a backup Timekeeper.
  14. Enters data into the Isolated Personnel Report system for personnel unable to access it and notifies the PM IEN Security Manager for review.
  15. Processes Theater Clearance Requests and Visitor Authorization Requests through the Joint Personnel Adjudication System.
  16. Plans daily activities in alignment with company policies and supervisor directives to optimize personal productivity.
  17. Engages in self-development by actively participating in training opportunities provided by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of relevant experience, or seven (7) years of relevant experience without a Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience with Army stakeholders in a similar capacity is preferred.

Experience in a shared services environment for enterprise-level clients is also preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Demonstrates a solid understanding of the functions outlined in the labor category description.

Knowledge of DoD classification guidelines and procedures is essential.

Ability to work semi-independently with appropriate oversight.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate and synthesize diverse information sources.

Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with strong grammar skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools for producing reports and documents.

Ability to recognize inconsistencies in information and resolve them effectively.

Ability to collaborate with team members on information sharing and conflict resolution.

LANGUAGE AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in small group settings.

Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret data.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions in multiple formats.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires regular office work, including sitting, using hands for tasks, and occasional lifting of light to moderate weights.
