The Assistant Service Manager serves as a vital point of contact for clients seeking service and repair solutions. The role may involve site visits and occasional training travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour on-call support as needed.
  • Manage service and technical inquiries.
  • Coordinate and schedule field technicians effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain job documentation.
  • Research and source parts for service quotes and repairs.
  • Assist in revising preventative maintenance contracts.
  • Oversee shop operations and ensure efficiency.
  • Review and approve employee time sheets.
  • Monitor job progress and completion.
  • Support sales with technical information and service requests.
  • Facilitate technician training and safety meetings.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally.
  • Negotiate billing disputes with vendors and customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, particularly pumps, motors, and air compressors.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Proficient in using test and measuring equipment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Capability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Must be a US citizen with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug testing is required.
