Job Summary

As a Technical Support Specialist III at DVSport, you will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing hardware problems in a timely and professional manner. You will actively update, maintain, and monitor all aspects of computer networks, install and configure computer systems, networking equipment, and applications. Additionally, you will respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems. You will also provide input during the development of new projects, products, and bids, and assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage. You will work closely with Technical Support Specialists II and service and support teams, and develop training for peers. You will maintain documentation of processes and procedures, and understand that due to the nature of our business, working hours can include nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose hardware problems in a timely and professional manner
• Actively update, maintain, and monitor all aspects of computer networks
• Install and configure computer systems, networking equipment, and applications
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems
• Provide input during the development of new projects, products, and bids
• Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage
• Work closely with Technical Support Specialists II and service and support teams
• Develop training for peers
• Maintain documentation of processes and procedures

Requirements

• 7+ years of system and network support experience
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Client operating systems
• Proficient in storage technologies such as RAID, NAS, SAN, SATA, SAS
• Functional networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP
• Documented security knowledge and experience
• Experience with digital video encoding, decoding, and streaming
• Knowledge of streaming protocols including RTSP, RTMP, HLS, TS-UDP, SRT, and NDI
• Commitment to high-quality service to both clients and fellow team members
• Supervisory/management experience
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minor guidance
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability and willingness to travel at times
• Comfortable with a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
