Physician - Hospitalist at Northern Arizona Healthcare

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated physician to become part of our collaborative and nurturing hospitalist team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. This role is pivotal in fulfilling our mission of enhancing health and providing care to our community. The hospitalist team operates under the guidance of an active hospitalist, ensuring a supportive environment for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
The hospitalist team consists of:
- 8 rounding teams, 2 admitting teams, and 2 nocturnist teams, totaling 27 hospitalists.
- 183 scheduled shifts annually, with 166 shifts worked after leave and continuing medical education.
- A typical mix of responsibilities includes rounding on approximately 7 out of 9 shifts, admitting 1 shift, and managing 1 swing shift.
- Backup assignments are approximately 4-5 times per quarter, with a stipend provided regardless of call-ins.
