The Administrative Assistant - Outpatient Rehabilitation will perform secretarial and general office work as required by the functions of a rehabilitation office. Duties may include scheduling appointments, registering, greeting, and assisting patients or the clinical staff, managing the telephones and routing messages accurately, entering charges and statistical data into the computer financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule appointments and manage the rehabilitation office calendar
  • Register and greet patients, and assist with check-in and check-out processes
  • Manage the telephones and route messages accurately
  • Enter charges and statistical data into the computer financial systems
  • Ensure maximum patient satisfaction and clinical staff productivity by efficiently operating the office and reception area

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in business preferred
  • Two years general office experience required; prefer one year or more of medical or Rehab office experience
  • Experience and proficiency in the use of a computer keyboard, Lotus Notes, Excel, and Word required
